Be Advised - The Year Advances.

a poem by Denis Barter, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

Don’t hold your breath, living is already enough,
when heavy snows fall, and road travel is tough.
Flowers took cover when the soil was still soft,
whilst the latest buzz states, there’s more snow aloft.
So if you travel far beyond home, do take care,
for I suspect old man winter is hiding there
in the wings. He’ll search if Fall has gone away,
then he, the old curmudgeon, will have his say!

Rhymer. November 18th, 2018.
(Why did summer have to go?)
