When your hands can't help

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India - poetry writer, author, poet

When your hands can't help,
The poor in need,
Then you are poor indeed,
I look not at your treasures.

I look at the hearts that bleeds,
Poor and poorer still,
Some are poor in finance,
Others are poorer due to greed.

If you are the latter,
Then try to change,
He judges from intentions,
Don't be poor for God's sake.

Eye of the needle,
Difficult for camel to pass,
Why heep up treasures on earth
When we ourselves can't last.
