Chocolate Blonds

a poem by Rachel Martin, USA

Clouds of puffy
chocolate scruffy
to delight upon the morn'
of Irish tastes
chocolate balls, chewy and green
they are a mean sweet
all are abundant with leaves, edible
to the stomach they twirl, but honestly, a night it will
whirl the stars around in love
quite the deterrent of real jams
music to shake the blond strands
all about the Chocolate street
named in London, for anything but meat feet
