96th Challenge - Every Heart Sings A Song Incomplete, Until #2

a poem by Kenneth Malvyn Clark, UK

O’er A Lifetime Of Time

My heart beats with the rhythm
of life yet my heart sings no song,
beats incomplete as the melody of
loves song lay sleep where heaven
graces, my lips smile as I pen these
words, remember the song of two
hearts singing o’er a lifetime of time,
I pen no bitterness, only pen of a
longing that perchance we’ll meet,
and I’ll sing again, my heart complete.
