a poem by Ash sarge, USA

I said a lot of things,
Before time became the now.
I made vows,
I made promises

You look at me in disbelief,
When the dagger you gave me,
To protect myself,
Is deep in your back..

Is it my fault,
That the one I called friend,
Has brought this all to an end.
Now what I said in the time before,
Can't be held for trueth.

You walked away,
Didn't want to stay,
Playing with the bigger guys,
Has made you colder than ice .

The pages have turned,
With them,
Have gone your halo and your wings...

Now you can't judge me..

It was a time before now,
I said I always had your back....
Maybe it's a Lie.
