Different Circles

a poem by william andrews, Greece

There are many planets
on this world
that most of us
live on today
in my younger years
I've visited a few

The planet of drugs
the illegal ones
and the government owned
the planet of drunks
the planet of thieves
the planet of paranoia
and some of their
inner moons
I've visited the planet
of suicidal despair
at least a couple of times
and I'm still not shore
I'm happy
that synchronicity
intervened
when I was so close
to living
on a planet
where I could forget
Everything
