A different Mom

a poem by Mukeshkumar Mafatlal Raval, India - poetry writer, author, poet

I have observed that she never behaves like other moms.
My friends' moms are really loving and caring and sharing everything their sons love and hate.
I have observed that she never forgives me like others. She always has that flat untouchy eyes and looks on my mistakes.
I have observed that
She always wants me to be strong like her,
Bonny, untouchy, unemotional and flat.
Not like my friends who weep to their moms
Not like others who have pain in eyes.
I have observed that
She is a strong woman, strongest of all,who lost her seven sons before me. I see that her love is in her strong attitude.
Her strength is in transforming me in a stronger one everyday.
