Vault 378

a poem by Melyssa G. Sprott, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

Peace I sought, my mind depraved,
these demons fought—my heart enslaved.
A battle lost, this war I waged—
maybe it's a blood-fueled rage,
to you—an ink & tear-stained page—
but by these words my soul is saved!
