Summer Sand

a poem by Jack Olson, USA

As you arrive at the beach,
you slip your feet out of your sandles.
But what to find?
Some nice warm sand.
You set up your chair and umbrella.
Take a seat, and bury your feet and wiggle your toes under the nice warm sand.
Then, you take out a sandwich and take a nice big bite.
But what to find?
Some nice warm sand.
