100th Musketeers Challenge-Our Special Place

a poem by Betty Janko, USA

From deep within the soul, a spark takes flight
And buried in our special place, ignites
As memories of love, and loss take hold
And poetry is born, with stories told
In rhythm and rhyme, let purpose begin
As they give meaning to the thoughts within
Of lovers and friendships all throughout time
Of sunrises and sunsets so sublime
When moments of passion flared in our youth
True wisdom took hold, helped show us the truth
Souls grew to blossom, like seeds planted deep
Along paths we walked, before final sleep

The sum of our journeys we will embrace
To always reside in our special place.

* I pray Roy’s journey takes him to his own special place.
To Ralph, blessings and peace to you and your family, and know that both new and old in the VN family were touched by him and will remember him with love.
