An E'er Increasing Gap!

a poem by John Starks, USA

Man's theory leaves an e'er increasing gap,
And doctors of philosophy strike fear
In hearts of those whose argument, a flap,
If heard aright, would challenge, not endear.
Complexities, glossed-over, ne'er explained,
Seem naught but 'magic' to an astute mind,
As complex functions, 'simply', aren't attained,
As but to sit does presuppose behind.
I would, perseverating, prove absurd,
But I believe you get the point I make,
As flying is ensconced within the bird,
Else it proves fodder for the roving snake.

Employ your reasoning and disavow...,
Or else, bamboozled, quake, or mutter Why?
