WE,GRIMY, WE, CAPRICIOUS

a poem by Krzeslawa T. Skrzypczynska, Poland - poetry writer, author, poet

we, grimy with rain,
we return, like these children,
which are having a great relish in having fun in a puddle
in rainproof shoes
that are bubbling
in juscy water
delivering a prepotent thought
to socks
that they will hang alone,
socks without us.
We, capricious,
astride,
between bliss
with communing with a drop
and between the distaste
out of a gift,
we start to sneeze
because
to love it is impossible.
