Gypsy Child

a poem by Tracy Marie Windisch-Mason, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

Grandeur is my
Midnight sky of a thousand rooms
I left behind
Quietly slipping down the road
Only a lover knows
Within a coat of woven leaf
Dress a petal flame
None could ever tame
Glorious colour which pouts
Upon worn lips
Still for life to
Only few could know
A Gypsy Child
Is never Alone
