native tongue..

a poem by Dale Costello, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

heart
that jumbled Earth inside
I can't hide
I can't hide
my soul from the lies
shout all memory
like it's a prize
I won't ride
I won't ride
where you tell me to
a tongue poking out the sky
soul.. taking on the view
