A Pale White Horse

a poem by william andrews, Greece

When one
becomes
Eager to please
No matter
the true cost
those
Unbidden Thoughts
that ride on in
a pale white
trojan horse
have you not now
lost
the emotional
intelligence
just a slave
to thoughts
you coudn't be bothered
to investigate
or even train
to become
a little more sane
then what you claim
