Clerihews:

a poem by Denis Barter, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

Photographer Beth,
once sayeth
I just hate,
snapping pictures indiscriminate.

Mam’selle Hart,
a woman smart,
said ‘Ee by heck
Hammeed in nails, made me a deck!

Now the village Parson,
I really should parse-on,
is one - living in Minnesota,
who ardently prays at filling his quota.

Denis the Poet,
wouldn't you know it,
tried writing a Clerihew.
So what say you? How did he do?

Rhymer. September 17th, 2019.
(Having a "Go" at Clerihews.)
