103rd Musketeers Challenge- Take Me Back To the Time

a poem by Betty Janko, USA

Once countries were friendly, with helping hand
By cleaning the oceans, saving the land
With meadows and grasses verdant and green
And babbling brooks with waters pristine…

When friendships we fostered from early days
Vowing we would never, ever part ways
When families gathered ‘round a table set
And finding a place for someone just met…

Where souls were open, and hearts full of love
Knowing faith would give strength from HIM above
To guide our way tho the path seemed too long
A constant companion to sing life’s song...

As we look back, we remember the way
To build a new future, a better day…
