In the living dream

a poem by Akamo Olatunji Muyideen, Nigeria

Flash of trance went through my mind
Underneath the pillow, I dreamt day passes by
Secret of vison, too cumbersome and blind
Till I unclose my eyes to the sky

Pleasure flows through illusion mood
When morning comes, moments seems so good
I dream'd the future incredible
And saw it's wraith and invisible
To describe my secret in fear
Safety secluded in far away, but near

O' living dreams, wake up and attack the night
Nothing is greater than becoming the "whole"
To set eyes upon the dangerous soul
And make the future come true and bright
