Leaving the Reservation

a poem by william andrews, Greece

When one
goes to jail
for leaving
the reservation
for useing
common sense
as a shield

It's a hard pill
to swallow
Losing
the only freedom
Your Allowed
to sit
with your friends
watching the world
go by
looking at things
that please your eyes
