Peg.

a poem by Dale Costello, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

I ride a tiny horse..
called Pegasus
a polyphony of wind, sky and wing
searching night and stars
breath.. as it spars
with light

from Pegs tiny nostrils
magic atomic dust
love and truth as it must
hold on for dear life
chaos
and the Southern cross
space reimagined

bridge and wheel
Pegasus
and every truth we steal
from ancient tales
and older mystery
beyond the wormholes

of modern history
Peg knowing every sound
truth.. and where its found
upon a person
the weight of the gift
only wisdom can lift
horse and soul
