Do tombstones get tired?

a poem by Charles Fisher, UK

Do tombstones get tired,
Of the rain that befalls,
The mourners at the gravesides?
The onslaught of rain and tears;
Eventually becoming as one being;
Being:
Seeing grieve from both
Mourners and tombstones

The wreaths dripping wet,
By the foot of the graveside. They
Prepare themselves to cover,
The board, laid over the open grave
With the decease coffin fresh interred

The wreaths placed on the board.
A scenic scene of flora for the rain,
To play with the tags of mourners names
