sound.. and thrown

a poem by Dale Costello, Australia - poetry writer, author, poet

sound.. and thrown
noise again
wound to the pain
of someone else in the manger
a heart and no danger
you’ll have sloppy seconds..

riders
greet a strangers morn
you gotta know the lion
from the thorn
gotta know the heart
from all it might reckon..

gone specking
gave up diamonds for the dust
of Her grave
my lovers slave
\I remain
dear Sylvia
