I saw my purse rise

a poem by Louise Marie Robello, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

Near the cliffs of Vanderlips late one night, my friend and I witnessed
a supernatural sight I saw my purse rise up on the air. Filled with fear I
looked at my friend who was near
her mouth was open almost be touching the to floor. Obviously it be was not an illusion, there was
no confusion than my purse slowly
hit the door. We didn't move we didn't scream this wasn't a dream, it
happened right after we witnessed
what looked like Aliens flying fast and swift. They watch humans on Earth who are cut at umbilical cords
from their mothers at birth as their soul incarnates this precious existence. They watch us love and hate than retaliate as they wonder why we choose road rage and war as a solution.
