Answer me please Corona

a poem by Henry Kimathi Muuthia, Kenya - poetry writer, author, poet

At first, I thought they were misspelling your name.
Corolla, it should be, I mused.

Oh, but you were very far from being a car!
How is it possible that you who is invisible,
Can cause mayhem so visible?

Are you even aware you are doing what you are doing?
Do you have the slightest idea of the effect you are having on the world?

Where did you come from?
Answer me please Corona.

For I now know you are not a car
And all I desire is from me to be far.
