Tulips

a poem by Charles Fisher, UK

Tulips your favourite appeal:
Red and purple flower heads
In the vase of water, stand on,
The mantelpiece with the mirror;
The mirror reflect the tulips appeal
Morning sun appear, the tulips adherence
The sunshine rays steal the mirror show
The yellows lines play the tulips colours
The mantelpiece feel colours of a film reel
That is being played on the living room
