We Must Find a Way

a poem by Betty Janko, USA

An ill wind may blow thru meadows and trees
spreading leaves and petals upon the breeze.
But roots will flourish and flower once more;
trees will stand strong to support as before.

Nature sends challenges to test all life,
both flora and fauna, all feel the strife.
But each in its time will soon find the way
to play the role of fate and hope to stay.

Although nature sends mankind an ill wind
to break its spirit, its resolve to bend,
take fate in your hands, rise up do your share,
reach out to help others and vow to care.

Life is a test in whatever you do!
How will you be scored? It’s all up to you!

* Wishing endurance and compassion to all of you who are finding
it hard these days. Discover a mighty tree and feel its strength.
