Our World Right Now.

a poem by Mark Ainslie, UK

Our world right now has somewhat changed,
Our routine and habits have been rearranged.
No one is going to pay us a visit today,
Because everyone's been asked to stay away.

Our garden already appearing better,
And some paintwork looking fresher.
Wonder how long my jobs to do will last,
Seem to be getting through them pretty fast.

Normally I would be out and about,
I would be visiting family no doubt.
New technology is helping us all,
With a text or maybe a video call.

I say a prayer last thing at night,
Wishing everyone will be alright.
Just hope we all stay fit and well,
Fingers crossed, time will tell.
