I hear your sick, not feeling well!

a poem by Westly Alexander Shaw, USA

I hear that you are sick,
not feeling well.
IT cannot be true.

Your eyes are red as the
setting sun, and very puffy.

Your nose is running out of
control as if a water facet.

Your skin as pale as a cloudless day,
and as rough as sandpaper.

Your cough as deep as the sea.
Is that cherry cough syrup I smell?

It's true you are ill. It could be worst
I could be your nurse.

So I must say good-bye.
I will be back another day.
Get well soon!
Before I write you another poem!
