MOTHERS AND MOTHERS -IN LAW

a poem by Drsudarsan Damodar Prasad, India - poetry writer, author, poet

What the Daughter in-law proposes
Mother in-law disposes
What the husband proposes
As a compromise
Both in-laws dispose.

All those episodes
If a writer collects
And fills the pages
Bind them as volumes
And 'survival at home' books
One stacked on top of each other
What happens?

Google Earth beeps
And alerts the GPS Systems
On your guard, all air plane navigators !
A strange object noticed
Pilots beware!
A book mountain
Taller than the Himalayas!
