a poem by Charles Fisher, UK

In the sea current
Befriend her heart
With golden treasures
Of fond pleasures from
Long that ago, as
She made her way, along
The well walked historical path
That many walked in the presence
Of the scents from the purple forest blooms
Of the moorland sea that sailed through
The memories of the past; and her here now
Above Greenock town
