a poem by R. Anthony H. Rock, Canada

Snatch snippets of Peace, here and there.
Why is there no Peace, everywhere?
Lies, Canards and Falsehoods spewed,
Begs Reality for truth renewed.

Sons and Daughters e'er rest neath the soil.
Victims of Greed's battle with Peace for Oil.
To fill coffers 'ready stuffed, overflow,
Cries of Innocence, deafen ears, grow.

Prayers and Wishes for Peace at last,
Remembered wars and battles, now and past.
Ye snatch snippets of Peace, where one can,
United for Peace, yes W.E.C.A.N.
