Artificial Flowers

a poem by Tracy Marie Windisch-Mason, Canada - poetry writer, author, poet

Honey
All of the ways
Within which
You praise
Lies within the midnight
Skies
Of your eyes
Crush me now
Artificial flowers
Showering down
That’s alright long as
You keep coming home
Within
The blackest of nights
Babe it’s alright
Just for tonight
Give a little more
It’s what I am dying
For
