If I'll want to recreate you

a poem by Krzeslawa T. Skrzypczynska, Poland - poetry writer, author, poet

If I'll want someday to recreate you
and the shine of those days,
I'll take a brush, easel, and paints,
to touch the drew dress and lilacs
in pink paint

If I'll still want to recreate you,
I'll take the old album, scissors, and glue,
I'll cut out of it not our stories,
I will only paste you and me.

cause I, cause I,
I am still dreaming of you at night.
cause you, cause you
you are the muse of my days
cause you, cause you
you stay in my dreams
cause you, cause you
you are giving me a sign.

If you'll however still be where I'll glance
I’ll make deprive our photos of their frames,
I'll remove and crumble them out and
I'll throw them out on the wind.
Maybe this killing state of longings
will disappear.

If you'll still be an image to me,
I'll take out a colorful lock of hair
of somewhere from the down of drawer.
I'll throw your name into a hologram
to almost taste you again
right, next to me.

cause I, cause I,
I am still dreaming of you at night.
cause you, cause you
you are the muse of my days
cause you, cause you
you stay in my dreams
cause you, cause you
you are giving me a sign.
