Angels not an annual thing

a poem by Westly Alexander Shaw, USA

Angels are not just an annual thing used at Christmas
time, I have you all year long.
Nor are you always dressed in blue like the angel's seen
on Christmas cards.
But let me give you a clue, the angel in this
poem does remind me of you.
Each day like this angel you pray, as its the
only way to start and end a day.
Just as an angel adds a personal touch,
you do too, as you like to cook and you don't
always follow a cookbook. What you cook may even have
something to do with a fishhook.
Drifting around you is beauty and your never snooty.
Just like the blue, angel in this poem, you
have your own style that makes me smile.
