The Snow and The River, Part 3

a poem by Sue Williams, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

The river carried the snow,
without a single thought,
of it's own llivelihood,
or it's future.

Changed into precipitation,
both River and Snow,
again, separately
begin to fly.

The race is underway,
hear them start to snicker,
laughing, snorting, gleeful,
who gets there first?

Remembrance of times past,
their flight will only last,
for a little season,
life's good and sweet.
