I Am A Beggar

a poem by Sue Williams, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

I am a beggar,
With tattered clothes
And withered hands.
Without food or shelter,
No shield from the wind.
I hold no fear
Carry no grudge,
Yet noticed, I am not.
I come in peace
With offerings untold.
Please notice me for
Who and what I am.
I am a beggar,
I am love.
