Battle of the Rainbow

a poem by Sue Williams, USA - poetry writer, author, poet

A rainbow knocked on my door today,
to push darkened clouds away.
The battle of light and dark ensued,
until one or the other became subdued.
Which way, that way, flashes of light
overturned my world, overcame my plight.
The rainbow has a name, which I won't reveal,
thank you from my heart, and in my heart you're sealed!
