O dear everlasting yonder abode, Sure near thee shall vanish my earthly load. My tears shall become a joyous applaud With sheer gladness will I cling to your road happiness, happiness it awaits me. Yea, my happiness shall my Lord's face be.
Frustations and embrassments will fly, When my fleshly robe within earth shall lie My dear soul, in joy's zenith you will cry, Happiness, happiness it awaits me. Yea, my happiness shall His presence be.
O moment of death, it's just a brief pain Its movement assists to great relief gain Dear soul you'll escape earth's hurricane Only when you're for your Lord's sake slain Happiness, happiness it awaits you Crist's happiness shall be your happiness too. |
