on a gift's special note

The note was to my surprise
While picking it up
I felt a pair of curious eyes
it was Santa in true form
I could tell by the suit
that he had worn
Not black nor white
oh they were red
his flannel pajamas
that he had worn to bed
I wasn't surprised
at this man in my house
it was my husband
in other words my spouse
