TO THE SENIOR CLASS OF 2004

Author: Brittni Elliott

Poem:
TO THE SENIOR CLASS OF 2004

As I think back through the years,
I can't help but break down into tears.
The things we’ve been through, the things we’ve done,
They are what has made us become one.

We’ve had our rough times, we’ve had our good,
No matter the case we all understood.
It's hard to think of leaving it all,
Now who is going to be there when I fall.

It's hard to imagine us all apart,
You’ve all made a special place in my heart.
I'm ready to move on, I'm ready to let go,
Then I think of you, and my heart says no.

But this is my goodbye, as I hold back the tears,
It's time to go out into the world and face our fears.

MY FAREWELL

Author: Holly Terpstra

Poem: MY FAREWELL

It's finally our time to say goodbye
This what we all wanted
Who thought that it would make us cry?
My fellow classmates I wish you luck
Carry on your pride and never give up
We've made it this far together
Now it's time to part
You can do it... begin your own start
There is always a time when you will look back
Just remember who was there for you and who had your back
Remember all those time when your friends made you laugh
Or when you ran down the hallway to get to your next class
This is where we started and this is where we'll end
We're no longer classmates but we're all friends.
So my fellow friends I wish you luck
Carry on your pride and promise to never give up.
