ISSUES OF LIFE

Author: Gideon Cecil

Poem:
ISSUES OF LIFE

Life is a mixture of laughter and pain,
When the tides of our destiny danced under
the silver rains.
Life is a dream that's a vision of our destiny
in this world of sorrows Jesus holds our tomorrow.

Jesus came to die for the sins of this world
that's the issue of our life if we accept him
into our hearts.
Our life can be bright because Jesus gives us
light on our dark paths on life's weary journey.

Life is a purpose,so you must life it; live it with a purpose, because you must dream to live.
If life is without meaning, our souls are lost.
Then what's the use of our lives in this world?

Let's give Jesus a chance to invade our hearts
for us to live to see heaven's golden gate.
So let's not live our life in vain hopes, but live
with a dream to change the world.

Obliterate hate from out of your life,
then do not sleep to dream,
but dream to change the world.

HOW YOU CHANGE MY WORLD?

Author: Latasha Johnson

Poem: HOW YOU CHANGE MY WORLD?

That night I wished upon a star and it came true

That night when I asked god to send me an angel from the heavens above to hold a broken heart like mine.
Someone to hold me, love me, and that’s what he did the day that I found you.

Boy, you came into my life when I was down and out, you came and change my world and see what was a black star in the night become a light that no one can break, a light so great which no one can take, a light of love I never knew of.

I’m different now because you help me grow.
You came into my life and showed me love.
The love we share, nothing or no one can ever compare.

Our love flows deeper than a river.
It shines brighter than the sun.
Grows higher than the tallest mountain.
And without you in my world, my world would be incomplete.
This is how you changed my world.
