THE LEGEND OF LEPRECHAUN KISSES

Author: Mary Morawski

Poem:
THE LEGEND OF LEPRECHAUN KISSES

To My Daughter's Smiling Irish Eyes

For centuries, people have puzzled over the mystery of whether Leprechauns really exist or not. As this legend unfolds, you will discover the answer that many great intellectual minds have searched for but failed to find.

This truly remarkable tale was created by an Irish maiden(Mommy) with the help of her faithful Leprechaun, Lucky, to dispel one of life's many mysteries for Irish maidens everywhere.

Do Leprechauns really exist, many have pondered,
Armed with questions, they have searched and wandered.

They have searched the grassy hills; rocks over turned,
Yet, in their minds, the questions still burned.

They have journeyed from The Blarney Stone and away to Belfast,
Inquiring from the old and the young, searching the past.

To find their answer, they were keeping the wrong pace,
They simply neglected to take notice of any young Irish face.

For, if they had allowed their gaze to linger,
They would have had a clue at which to point a finger.

For at night, as the young Irish maidens sleep,
Leprechauns steal into their rooms in a quiet creep.

Upon their noses and dimpled rosy cheeks,
The Leprechauns placed their kisses, so mild and meek.

The young Irish maidens learned of the visits at night,
For you see, the freckles they awoke with, were a beautiful sight.

And so the legend goes, that all Irish maidens are beautiful, inside and out,
Because, Leprechaun kisses are beautiful gifts, without a doubt!

MY DREAMS:

Author: Vijaya Lakshmi

Poem: MY DREAMS:

Will you ever really know?
Will you truly understand?
Will you ever really see?
Come here and take my hand.

I'll tell you, I'll show you,
I'll guide you to my heart,
I'll let you into my soul,
From me you'll never part.

I dream every night when I sleep,
But my dreams are only about you.
You occupy my every thought,
You're in everything I do.

You are my days, you are my nights,
You are my everything.
I'll never, ever let you go,
For you are what completes me.

I can't imagine who I'd be,
Or what I would be like
Without having you here with me
As the center of my life.

You're the stars in my midnight sky,
You're the millions of fish in my sea,
You're the hot, bright sun in my world,
And that's what you mean to me.

I LOVE YOU...ALWAYS AND EVER TILL MY LAST BREATH OF LIFE.....
