two shades you might see.
One shade is sunrise yellow,
I’m simple and cool.
I’m calming and mellow,
a rippling pool.
I blend into the background,
sleek as a dove.
I won’t whisper a sound,
but to deal out some love.
The other is nebula red,
I’m wrinkled and hot.
I breathe iron and lead,
hot on the spot.
I stand out bright and true,
a brilliant star.
Nothing I won’t do,
except go way far.
Mix these two shades,
soothing and bold.
Sprinkle with dreams,
you get some Queen’s gold.
