MIGRATION FROM REALITY

Author: Matt Janes

Poem:
MIGRATION FROM REALITY

  Migration from reality

When time brings elderly age upon me Ill remain a young boy
Im overwhelmed in gratitude this voyage brought limitless joy
Migration seemed necessary for misfortune rained repeatedly
The forecast of reality is incompatible with me
Obliviously living within endorphin provoking fiction
The world around me crumbles yet im sheltered within healthy addiction
Call me crazy for these incisions to my head are happily self-inflicted
I wield an optimistic sword and slaughter all thats pessimistic
Psychoneurotic sailboat glide with the schizophrenic breeze
Through the ocean of psychosis to the realms of insanity
Away to my special island where the glittering crystals shine
The sun is lit throughout the night combined with diamonds raining from the sky
A world sincerely real just not too the naked eye
Although my social status declines I honestly dont mind
For within this paradise forever my heart lies
Oh divine unfathomable uncharted sectors of the mind
Im grateful From the day of discovery you never ceased to shine
Within neurotic waters Sweet serenity materialized
And within this euphoric kingdom I remain until I die

"YOUR EYES, TO YOUR HEART"

Author: Margaret Schaufler

Poem: "YOUR EYES, TO YOUR HEART"

Your eyes, they show me the real you,
the you within, so strong and so true.
I can see straight into your soul,
and I can't help it, I just lose control.

Your lips, I can still feel them on mine,
when you're not here, I just close my eyes.
I can imagine them on every inch of my skin,
I'd remember that, no matter how long it's been.

Your hands, I love how they feel on me,
but you don't completely understand you see.
It is not just a simple little touch,
I'm amazed, by how it makes me feel so much.

Your heart, I can feel it when you speak,
I can feel the love, and it makes me weak.
You speak of butterflies within your chest,
now you've felt what I feel, isn't it the best?
