Now I Know You

Author: Kristine Trudeau

Poem:
Now I Know You

I picture/hear this as a talkative, almost Broadway style song, used in a play.

NOW I KNOW YOU

They told me I was good for nothing
They told me my life wouldn't change
They told me there was no hope
I believed them
Oh, but now I know You

They told me there was no Heaven
They told me there was no Hell
They told me life doesn't matter
I believed them
Oh, but now I know You

They told me half-truths and distortions
They filled me with lie after lie
They spoke falsely, and
I believed them
Oh, but now I know You

Chorus:
Now I know You
Now I know You
Jesus, now I know You
My life is so different
With hope and love and truth
Because, someone introduced me to You

AUTUMN

Author: Stacy Stiles

Poem: AUTUMN

I cannot explain in words, the love of a daughter so dear
For she’s taken away my heart, and left me in utter fear

The fear of her growing up, and leaving this abode to grow
To grow into someone else, without my guidance to bestow

My life I would give for her a hundred-thousand times
Endless love to give and endless love to assign

She has a precious gift, a gift in which nothing can compare
She brightens up the world, and takes away all misery and despair

Her eyes are a mystery as to who she will become
My little baby girl, has completely come undone

Her freckles are now beauty marks, her rosie cheeks are now filled with rouge
What happened to that little girl, who is now destined to never lose?

So please my child don’t leave me, but if you do have to go…..
Remember this mothers’ love for her daughter will forever continue to grow
