A GIRL'S SILENT CRY.

Author: Stacy Politano

Poem:
A GIRL'S SILENT CRY.

  There's a 10 year old girl,
in a forgotten place.
She's never seen a world,
so full of hate and disgrace.

She watched innocents die,
right before her eyes so pure.
No chance to say goodbye...
like a sudden illness with no cure.

She's alone. She's depressed.
Feeling lost in her own skin.
Pain like an unwelcomed guest.
Why did this all begin?

Here they come again;
Those endless vile tears.
There they go again;
All her hopes to fears.

She's now known as C-39874.
The burning feeling intense still.
She can't handle this anymore.
This pain that could kill.

Her fantasies still vivid in her head,
of the world so unknown.
Her faith not far from dead.
Her dreams are just her own.

She's searching up and down.
Her elbows cut and knees scraped.
Her eyes are know all around,
on the look for the hope that escaped.

HOW COULD THEY?

Author: Paul Pendragon

Poem: HOW COULD THEY?

How could there be so much evil in the world
So that people can slaughter millions of men women and children
And have hearts as cold as death
How could they do it with no remorse?
With actions as merciless as the sea
How could they have fun doing it
They let themselves be brainwash by one mad man
And follow him to your deaths
They were a plague that killed all in its path
I can not say why
I do hope that God did not have mercy on there souls
For neither would I
I do hope that those that did it burn in the fires of hell
I ask you how
How could the world and its people turn their backs?
Where was God
And why did he let it happen
All I can say is that there was a reason
I don’t like it
You probably don’t either
But there is nothing that we can do
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And so we go,
Paul
