Two Poems from our Holocaust Poetry Collection

Mind Bomb (Beta version)

Author: Jude Ashiedu

Poem:
Mind Bomb (Beta version)

  COMPONENTS:
Miniature mind readers.
Audible word exchangers.
Data linkers: phone, voice, internet.
Thought scanners and their baby Jumpers.
Tranquilisers with inbuilt sound mixers.
High speed nano skaters.
Each fortified with body snatchers.
Resident crawlers.
Straped with indelible foot markers.
Nano pulse readers with translators.
Each fortified with atomic transponders.
Click-Bang miniature detonators.
Alternative path foot leaders.
And their triumph banner lifters and singers.

EFFECT:
A blown up mind.
Thoughts splashed over a mile.
Cries or smiles, envy or thanks.
All depends on the programmed virtue or vice.

SIDE ATTRACTIONS:
A million Shockwaves per minute.
Paparazzi, media and their myths.
Poets, writers and other page makers.
Fame, shame, controversies and their critiques.

RAGE FOR LIFE

Author: Vinay K m

Poem: RAGE FOR LIFE

I remember the time
Fences making meaningless relationship

Barbed wires Cutting across mutual hearts
Animosity

I remember the time
Death closer to life

Greater Proximity

I remember it
Death lived so close to life, we played with it, sang with it, danced with it, made merrier jokes with all the rage for life
we failed
I remember the time
we failed to love each other
