Two Poems from our Holocaust Poetry Collection

Last (Inproved version)

Author: Colton Bergman

Poem:
Last (Inproved version)

  Incineration,
Ashes of religion
Fly,
Just striving for
Freedom.

The captured souls,
Hold in torn lines
valuables and gold,
clothes, shoes, even the hair on their head.

Work will set you free
(Dead..)

Sleep..
How could they sleep?
When echoed sounds drop men to their

Knees,

Children's last breath wasted on screams,
as the suffrage slowly enters the,
Seams

Stone cold destiny

Author: Janne Ryynänen

Poem: Stone cold destiny

Under these crumbling hills
I met my nemesis
I knew this was my destiny

dirty rain falls
and sky is crying last
longing memories

the truth is gone
life´s hard road
was far too long

all this been written
by deaths pen
so end is here before
I can tell

now when it`s time to feel sorrow
it´s also time to feel pain

it was all that
when I was walking
on this life´s dry
smoky rusty road
where I cried my
last aching tears
showing all my darkest fears

now I just sleep away
clean my thoughts
and fly my mind
through the sunny days

before I am diving
into this dark soil
where this sand
is burning my soul

now just look into our eyes
look what we have become

stone cold
nowhere to hold
