BREATH OF AIR

I never had to look too far for challenges,
they always seemed to come smack-dab at me.
And even though I wondered
how much I could stand,
the answer could be found on bended knee.

HE’S THE BREATH OF AIR
THAT I’M BREATHING
HE’S THE REASON I’M ALIVE
WITHOUT HIS( BREATH OF AIR) THAT I’M NEEDING
THERE’S NO WAY I COULD SURVIVE.

Sometimes I’d try to forge ahead,
and do it my own way,
but for my stubborn waste of time
I’d always have to pay.
For if I had been listening,
I’d known just what to do,
to have that peace inside my heart
that only GOD gives you.

WITHOUT HIS( BREATH OF AIR) THAT I’M NEEDING
THERE’S NO WAY I COULD SURVIVE.

This world is full of choices
that each one of us must make,
without the proper frame of mind,
sometimes we make mistakes.
The trappings of this world,
are all around should we partake,
but when we free our souls from it,
our spirits will not ache.
