HOW IT LIVED

Author: Milbert Cabichuelas

Poem:
HOW IT LIVED

The colors would bloom to its brightest piece
The scent you'd smell to a distant wish
So proud to stand to it’s every deed
And then I thought this is how it lived

The beauty it gave has gazed my ears
To any February it wiped their tears
The magic it holds when it was just a seed
And then I thought this is how it lived

A simple second of his dearest bliss
Like a gift of your short but beloved kiss
A cold and long sadness which you have freed
And then I thought this is how it lived

THOSE YOUNG CHARMS

Author: Mandeep Sehgal

Poem: THOSE YOUNG CHARMS

Methought I saw just another human,
Believe me I didn't see those young charms!!
All suddenly I felt her an angel in this race of men,
Living in this world of grief adoring everyone spreading her arms!!

Pure in heart, pure in spirit, pure in soul,
She, dear teacher, does not have an evil role!!
Respects for both younger and older,
Does her duty no matter how large is the boulder!!

Tension of work prevails in the eyes cutting like a knife,
She says never give up, do hard work in life!!
Everything fine, nothing mine, this she explains,
I saw in her eyes, when someone lies it pains!!

Greed can be seen everywhere, its true,
But she bears the pain and says, it's only you!!

She keeps pressing on us, why don't you try?
For our welfare, not in her nature she even tells a lie!!
To end this poem, i couldn't find words,
You would think, there are no lines in this that hurts!!

I say now, I see those young charms spreading arms,
When you are with her, it's a blessing to try even in farms!!
